5800 Series Automatic Switch Controls

Shipped ready for installation on the pole or pedestal, or for integration into pad-mounted equipment, the 5800 Series Automatic Switch Controls combine sophisticated automatic control schemes with RTU functions, data logging, and advanced communications capabilities in one integrated package. You can automate one, two, or three switches, depending on the model you choose.

Key features of the 5800 Series Automatic Switch Controls include:

Automatic sectionalizing based on factors such as overcurrent, loss of voltage, and phase imbalance
Data logging, including overcurrent faults and daily high/low values
Stand-alone or SCADA operation
Support for a wide variety of communications hardware and software protocols
Sophisticated power supply/battery system
Compatibility with the IntelliTEAM Automatic Restoration System, EnergyLine's award-winning modular reliability system, including use as IntelliTEAM gateways

We also offer the Model 4801 Remote Switch Control, a simpler control for local or remote operation of switches. This device does not include analog inputs or an LCD, but can later be field upgraded to a fully-functional 5801 Automatic Switch Control.
